Black women with breast cancer face a tougher time surviving after 5 years, compared to people from other backgrounds, no matter when they find out about it or what type it is.

• The harmful chemicals in products for Black hair care can affect our health and raise the risk of developing breast cancer.

• Those under 50 had a death rate that was 2X as high as White women in the same age group. Additionally. 

• Black women also have a higher likelihood of dying from breast cancer, regardless of their age. 

• Those who use Hair Dye at least every 5-8 weeks had a 60% higher Breast Cancer Risk.
